Why I Started Blogging

I follow so many blogs, and you probably do, too! For as long as I can remember, they’ve been a source of joy, inspiration, and encouragement. They expanded my horizons in high school as I discovered that there were other women out there who loved traditional style, classic fashion, and hosting gatherings with loved ones. They continue to inspire me today as a wife, sister, and friend. The older I’ve gotten, the more I’ve enjoyed reading and learning from bloggers nearby and far away! I read a quote once that said “there’s no better way to learn about yourself and the world around you than by absorbing the wisdom of others,” and I have found that to be true on the pages of the blogs I love.

While I’ve still got so much to learn, I have gained so much knowledge from the women I follow online. (Like improving my calligraphy skills as Beth Hunt’s intern in college and as a creative assistant at DoSayGive.) And I hope to share some of my own lessons and experiences with you.
