It’s been way too long since I’ve written one of these posts! Read along for a few things that are currently bringing me so much joy.
1. Antique Shopping
One of Alex’s and my favorite weekend activities (especially when it’s cold outside!) is to head to our local antique mall to explore. Furnishing our first home has been a fun challenge, and we’ve found so many beautiful–and affordable!–pieces. From vintage blue & white pieces to larger furniture items, we never what we’ll end up going home with!
2. A New Podcast
Because my job as a creative assistant at DoSayGive is remote, I have complete freedom to listen to whatever I want in the background. While it’s normally Taylor Swift, recently I have been loving a new-to-me podcast called How’d She Do That? by Emily Landers! Each episode is an interview with a female creative or business owner. From Kelly Wynne Ferguson (a fellow Ole Miss grad!) to Natalie Steen of @thenatnote, each episode has been filled with so much wisdom. I think you’ll love it, too!
3. Sarah Flint Shoes
Last month, I became a part of the Sarah Flint ambassador program! Her team was kind enough to send this beautiful pair of Natalie flats to me. They are stunning in person and can easily transition from day to night! Not to mention they are so comfortable. You can use my code “SARAHFLINT-BAJULIAE” to get 50% off your first purchase. (P.S. – they’re also having a Semi-Annual Sale that ends today!)
4. Time With Family
It was so nice to be able to spend so much time with family over the course of the holiday season. Beginning with a week at home with my family for Thanksgiving, meeting my newest little nephew, an Ole Miss win in the Egg Bowl (sorry Alex!), and then back-to-back weekends of Christmas celebrations with the Ashley’s and the East’s, the end of 2021 left me feeling so grateful for my loved ones. It was also our first Christmas together!
5. A Fresh Start
Does anyone else love the new year? There’s something about a fresh start and resetting that is so encouraging to me. From a deep-cleaned home to new goals and intentions, I love moving into the new season with a hopeful heart! (I also LOVE all of the color-coded, organization content… currently rewatching The Home Edit on Netflix!)
If you’ve read this far, thank you! I so enjoy putting words to the things I’m grateful for and would love to hear some of the things that are making you happy right now, too!
